Detail photos of the car after we towed it up from Medford.
Saturday morning my stepdad and I pulled the engine and transmission out of the Fiat. We thought it would be easier to pull the entire package out at once. If we would have known to remove the shift tower guts, disconnect the idler arm support bracket (to make room for the transmission to slide forward) and take off the little hood latch, it would have been cake. It still wasn't very hard, but we spent some time fiddling about. Then, my friend and co-worker Tyler arrived with his giant Mopar Cummins Turbo Diesel, and we loaded the Fiat on a tow dolly. We made the trip north just fine, although it was horrible weather. Tyler's dog, Tucker, a giant German Wirehair, shed all over the front of the Fiat. So, don't mind a few loose hairs in the photos below. Oh yeah, I snapped a few pics of our fun removing the old engine, but I'm having trouble getting them off the little memory card. I'll keep trying.
